Bring your group to our farm for a private visit where you can enjoy the countryside and open space and meet and greet our delightful animals.
For able visitors we will provide a personalised tour of the farm where you can meet all of our residents: alpacas, free range ducks, pygmy goats, rare breed sheep. Visitors will be provided with animal feed and we will share insights into our animals' individual characters or quirky behaviours. Each one has a name and each one has a character!
For those who are less able we are happy to bring a selection of animals to you, onto the areas of the farm where there are hardstandings and close to the toilets and cafe barn. We are more than happy to adapt each visit to the needs of the visitors, whatever they are.
We have a clean barn which we use as our cafe/shop for visitors to enjoy our home made cake and tea/coffee (included)
We have clean toilets (including an accessible toilet) and hand washing facilities for your use.
We are happy to provide you with a copy of our risk assessment and you would of course be welcome to visit to carry out your own risk assessment, ask any questions and agree a plan and schedule for the visit.
How much will it cost?
For smaller groups of adults/special interest groups there is a minimum charge of £150 for up to 10 people to include a private and informative farm tour, and a slice of home made cake and tea/coffee. Extra people are charged at £15 per head and final numbers must be confirmed 48 hours prior to your visit to allow for catering. Visits can be booked on weekdays or weekday evenings during term time from 1st March - 31st October. We anticipate that your private visit will last 1:30 - 2 hours. Please note that this does NOT include walking the alpacas. If you want your visit to include walking the alpacas please click here
We also welcome Corporate Visits.
We love to welcome visitors to the farm and are happy to put a package together for groups, whatever they may be. We have a particular interest in specialist groups who perhaps find farm visits difficult to access. Each visit is private and catered for the specific needs of your group. It is impossible to lose anyone! Did you know that 80% of visitors to our farm are adult.......?
Group visits can be booked week days during term time, from 1st March-31st October. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and check availability. If we have agreed a date then you can go ahead and book your slot here
If you are a group of people wanting to arrange a hen party/birthday party or just a family get together, and would like your visit to include walking the alpacas then visit our Private Alpaca Experiences page. These can't be booked online so get in touch to discuss availability and options.
Cheddington WI booked an evening visit and had a wonderful evening touring the farm, feeding the animals (alpacas, pygmy goats, rare breed pigs and sheep) and learning about how Jo and James became alpaca farmers. They were extremely informative and the cakes even got the approval of a WI - high praise indeed. We will certainly be recommending them and many of our members are looking at other opportunities to visit.
