• Work continues....

It's been 10 days since the Scotframe team left and progress is steady. We had to pick up about 4 buckets of dropped screws and nails, fill a skip, and sweep and vacuum all the internal floors in readiness for the under floor heating. The pipes have been laid and it's already starting to look more like a home! The spanish slate roof is nearly finished and we have a new chimney pot, courtesy of James' dad! It's so nice to have both our dads, my brother and Amy's boyfriend all involved in the build and our plumber, Rob from Blue Sky Builds is brilliant!

We have agreed a date of 30th Jan for completion on our house so are hoping the farmhouse will be ready by then!

The alpacas and ponies continue to look bedraggled due the wet weather but don't seem too bothered. We have had two sets of visitors to the farm today and both seemed enamoured with them! All good practice for when we open in the Spring (gulp!)
