• Day 6 - Erection Team leave!

Well they've gone. 6 days to erect a house - pretty impressive! All the windows are in and I do believe I like them!! Now the hard work starts as it's over to us!

Skip ordered for delivery tomorrow so we can start clearing the site - can't believe how many nails there are littered around the place, not to mention Iron Bru cans!! Mum and dad are coming to help tidy tomorrow - they'll be in their element - they do like a tidy site! And we're very grateful for the help.

Forecast is fairly dry for the next few days which will be very welcome as it's still so muddy everywhere. Our new little ponies are a different colour to when they arrived - they're both brown! The weather means we've not done much at all with the animals for the past few days and I really miss it.

Roofer will be onsite from Friday followed by the brickie. Meanwhile we'll be inside laying underfloor heating and floor screed. There's a long long list of things to do before it will be remotely habitable. But trying not to think of that right now.........
