• And finally.......!

The timber frame is arriving on Wednesday 17th October - finally! We're feeling excited about seeing it go up but a bit nervous too. Scaffolding will be erected on Monday, so we're hoping for no wind.

We're also collecting our new arrivals, Lancelot and Lightning, miniature ponies who have just been weaned, this week. Our female ponies, Sapphire and Paris, have been sharing playtimes with the alpacas and Charlie, our dog, and all seem to be getting along (though the ponies do like to herd the alpacas which is quite funny!). The plan is to allow the new boys some time to settle in and then hopefully they can share a paddock and field shelter with our little boy alpacas for the winter.

And I've finally chosen and ordered my kitchen! Hallelujah. What a struggle it's been. In keeping with the tradtional barn look I am trying to create I have chosen a kitchen from handmade cabinet maker www.murdochtroon.co.uk It will be fitted on 20th December so we'd better be ready for it.

We've had quite a few house viewings over the past couple of weeks with some good interest and feedback so here's hoping we'll have a sale under our belts soon so we can finish the new house.

I'll be uploading pics of the new ponies and the timber frame as it's erected in due course. James is also taking a time lapse video of the whole building from foundations to completion so that will be really interesting to watch.
